Some big changes for 2024!!

It is with a heavy heart that I share some bittersweet news with you...
 
After much consideration and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to close Relax At My Place at Regents Park location and re open from my home at Parkinson. 
 
This decision was not made lightly, and I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over the years. It has been an incredible journey, and I am truly grateful for the relationships we've built and the memories we've created together. I hope we can continue to make new memories in 2024.
 
The salon has been a labor of love, and I could not have asked for a better community to be a part of. I have made this hard decision for a better work/life balance. I feel like I am missing out on so much family time with working late nights and weekends and these are the years that I wont get back. I recently read a quote that said "The only people who will remember you worked late are your kids" and this really has sunk into my heart. Creating a balance to be a better mum, a better wife and more present with my family is why I have made this decision. It was really hard to choose, because the salon is my 2nd baby. 
 
The complex we are currently leasing has also gone up for sale and the commitment to a new long-term lease in such trying times with the added costs of living etc is not a risk I want to take. Being at home also means I can keep my services affordable for everyone. This was the deciding moment for me, I saw it as a sign that moving back home in the New Year is the right path to follow.
 
It does sadly mean some changes for Relax At My Place. We will no longer have Renee offering her wonderful services, she will be very missed. She has become a dear friend of mine. Massages will only be offered in a package with facials, with an added restriction of how many I can do each week. Unfortunately my poor hands just don't cope with lots of hours of massage anymore. If you have a gift voucher please book in so you can redeem it towards a treatment or put it towards some skin care or makeup, but you will also be able to use the voucher at the new salon.
 
Our last day of operation will be 29th December. We will be operating as usual until this time, opening again in January at my home. Over the Christmas break we will fine tune our new trading hours, offer online product sales and still offer online bookings etc. the new location is only a 4 minute drive from where we are so I am hoping this wont be too much out of the way for you.
 
Thank you once again for being an integral part of Relax At My Place and making my dream of owning a salon come true. I will cherish the memories and friendships we have made during this chapter of my life.
 
I cant wait to see what 2024 will bring us all!
